When Angélica and Tristan approached We Eventos, they presented a beautiful challenge: planning a five-day celebration in Rio de Janeiro for guests from the United States. The project required meticulous coordination between two countries, two languages, and nine months of planning to create an unforgettable experience that showcased the best of Brazilian hospitality and the magical charm of Rio.
Our initial meetings focused on understanding the couple's vision for a sophisticated celebration that would showcase Brazilian culture to American guests, while maintaining the elegance of an international wedding in a paradisiacal destination. Priorities included creating a seamless experience for visitors unfamiliar with Brazil, showcasing Rio's rich culture, managing logistics across different time zones, and ensuring bilingual communication throughout the entire process.
We created a progressive experience that would immerse guests in Rio de Janeiro's culture, building anticipation for the main event. As the setting, we chose Santa Teresa, a bohemian neighborhood steeped in colonial history, centuries-old mansions, and charming cobblestone alleyways that wind through the hills offering privileged views of the city. The MGallery Hotel Santa Teresa and the Solar Real became the perfect bases to accommodate the guests, offering sophisticated comfort amidst the artistic and cultural atmosphere that defines this iconic Rio neighborhood.
We have developed a comprehensive digital communication hub, with strategic curation of venues, a portfolio of guest accommodations (primary and alternative), a transportation and logistics matrix, and detailed event architecture. Exclusive services include dedicated transportation from the MGallery, a professional on-site coordination team, bilingual staff, and 24/7 emergency support, ensuring full assistance throughout the event.

The second night of Angélica and Tristan's wedding weekend was dedicated to one of Rio's most authentic experiences: the traditional "baratona" in Santa Teresa. The bohemian neighborhood, with its historic slopes and vibrant atmosphere, was the perfect setting for a genuine immersion in Carioca culture.
The itinerary included three iconic bars in the neighborhood. We started at Bar do Mineiro for snacks and caipirinhas, moved on to live samba where everyone danced, and finished at a rooftop with panoramic views of the city. Bilingual guides accompanied the group, telling stories and ensuring safety on the cobblestone streets.
The guests learned to dance samba, sampled cod fritters and chicken croquettes, and connected with local musicians and residents. We Eventos surprised the group with an impromptu choro jam session that transformed the night into a pure Brazilian celebration.
The result was magical. American guests left enchanted by Rio's unique energy, making the barricade one of the most talked-about experiences of the wedding weekend.

Solar Real, a historic jewel nestled in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, transforms into a celestial altar for the most anticipated ceremony of the wedding weekend. Its centuries-old gardens, colonial arcades, and privileged view of Guanabara Bay create the perfect setting where tradition meets tropical romance. WE Eventos orchestrates every element so that this 19th-century palace witnesses the union of two hearts, while more than 100 American guests experience the magic of saying "I do" under the Rio sky.
The imposing architecture of Solar Real needs no excess – its natural beauty calls for only delicate enhancement. Tropical flowers in shades of white and green adorn the bride's path, while the gentle breeze from the bay carries the scent of jasmine and the sea. The moment when the couple meets before those historic walls, with Christ the Redeemer in the distance blessing their union, is when all the planning culminates in pure emotion shared by everyone present.
